Christian Baekkelund comes to 38 Studios from MIT. He has worked games-related jobs in the areas of design, programming, and quality assurance. His body of work includes Tiger Woods 2001 on PS2 for Electronic Arts and Karaoke Revolution, also on PS2, for Harmonix Music Systems.
Between various games jobs, Christian has completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, a bachelor’s degree in comparative media studies, and coursework for a master’s degree in computer science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has also authored several articles in AI Programming Wisdom 3 and spoken at the Game Developer’s Conference 2006. While Christian is already known to be part pirate, speculation exists of his potential cybernetic origins, having never broken a bone in his body.
