Nancy Berman has production and writing credits on forty computer and video games and more than twenty role-playing sourcebooks including Los Angeles by Night (Vampire: The Masquerade) and Alderac Entertainment’s 7th Sea/Swashbuckling Adventures line. As a freelance writer, she co-authored several novellas for Microsoft’s Crimson Skies, one of which was the prequel for the Xbox game Crimsons Skies: High Road to Revenge. She was also the managing editor on a role-playing book based on the works of noted fantasy author Katherine Kurtz. Nancy is a contributing writer for a web site designed to help preteen and teenage girls maintain a positive attitude about themselves.

A fourth-generation Californian, she received a B.A. in English from U.C. Santa Barbara, with graduate work in English literature, costume design, folklore, and mythology. She is also a member of the Writers Guild of America-West. In addition to being an avid sports fan and historical re-enactor, Nancy actively supports the ongoing struggle of various oppressed peoples in a variety of online and rpg worlds.
