John began his game development career in Toronto, Canada, making PC mods at an engineering consulting firm that specialized in constructing coin-op video game machines. In 2004, John relocated to Los Angeles, California, to join Electronic Arts, where he worked on GoldenEye: Rogue Agent, Medal Of Honor: European Assault and Medal Of Honor: Airborne. In 2006, John made the decision to relocate back to Canada. In his 2+ years back in his native land, John worked on NHL 07 and SSX: Blur for EA's Montreal studio. He was also a software engineer on the development team at Slant Six Games in Vancouver, Canada, that developed SOCOM: Confrontation for the PS3.
When he's not at a computer keyboard, John studies classical Japanese jiujitsu, looks for reasons to use his surfboard or his snowboard, and tries to convince people that most Canadians never end their sentences with 'eh.'
